A New year starts and this one will be the year of Google Wave. In this new post we talk about what we expect about Google Wave and everything related.
In the Wave-sphere there are already several robots either built by Google or by non-Google developers.
We have just created a section where we will note the robots as we discover them. Right now is like mushroom picking, you have to search in the darkest corners of the internet.
The bots that we have come across by now are these:
Non Googler’s Robots
Granuady – Get info about a phrase from The Guardian.
Twiliobot – Make phonecalls and transcript them from a Wave.
Bloggy (blog-wave@appspot.com) – Python Source Code
Use waves to publish on your blog
Stocky (stocky-wave@appspot.com) – Java Souce Code
Control stocks in real time
Tweety (tweety-wave@appspot.com) – Java Source Code
Use waves with Twitter
Debuggy (debuggybot@appspot.com) – Java source code
Used to debug, responds to each event on a wave.
Cartoony (cartoonybot@appspot.com) – Java source code
Should replace the text of every submitted blip with a cartoon balloon that contains the text instead.
Yasr (wave-api-dmo@appspot.com) – Python source code
It replaces emoticons in the wave with smiley images.
Complety (wave-complete@appspot.com) – Python source code
Replaces “???” in a blip with a suggested word.
Spelly
Checks your misspells and corrects it.
Linky
Converts the text link into the live links.
Buggy
Makes a life of developer much easier.
We will keep on pointing the new we will find. If you find a robot not in the Robots section we will be thankful if you share it with us.
This website uses IntenseDebate comments, but they are not currently loaded because either your browser doesn't support JavaScript, or they didn't load fast enough.
